The Elements Spread

This method of card-laying is based on the four elements; fire, water, air, earth. It consists of a straight line of cards representing the four elements, and their position meanings. In accordance with the meaning of each position in the line, the cards laid in this sequence will reveal an answer regarding the background and rooted causes in a question.

The meaning of the various card positions in the element spread

Card#1:
Fire - Actions by the seeker or the subject of the question

Card#2:
Water - The feelings or emotions of the seeker or the subject of the question

Card#3:
Air - The thoughts of the seeker or the subject of the question

Card#4:
Earth - The present state or desire of the seeker or the subject of the question

How to read the spread:
The elements spread is read from left-to-right begining with card#1. The first card will describes the actions that are or will be taken by the subject, card#2 will reveal the feelings of the subject, card#3 will show the thoughts of the subject, and the final card, card#4 illustrate the present situation due to the influences of all the other elements. This final card together with card#1 are the keys to what the subject will do in the future regarding the question.
